    In Claude, add Flomailr as a custom connector by pasting one URL, then approve access on Flomailr's sign-in screen. Claude Code, Cursor and other apps that support MCP connectors use the same URL, or an API key.

    Give your AI your web address. Flomailr pulls your logo, colors and fonts into a brand kit that every email uses from then on, and you can adjust it by hand in settings.

    Brief it the way you'd brief a designer: what's happening, who it's for, where the button goes. Your AI writes each section, and Flomailr lays it out in your brand or one of nine hand-built themes.

    The real email renders right in the chat, with desktop, mobile and dark mode views. Ask for changes, or open the draft in the visual builder to move things by hand. When it's ready, your AI does a dry run that shows who would get it, and the real send takes a separate confirmation.

Why it's safe to let an AI near your list.

The worry is fair: one bad send can burn a list you spent years building. So the limits are enforced by Flomailr's server, where the AI can't change them.

  • Campaigns arrive as drafts.

    The tool that saves a campaign can only write drafts. They wait in your campaigns list until someone sends them.

  • Every send starts as a dry run.

    Send tools default to a dry run: your AI gets back who would receive the email, who is blocked and why, and who is held for quiet hours. Sending for real takes a separate, explicit confirmation, and apps like Claude ask your permission before running a tool that sends.

  • The rules run on Flomailr's server.

    Unsubscribed, bounced and complained addresses are skipped and your daily cap applies, however the request is worded. Quiet hours hold sends back by default, and a send retried with the same key cannot go out twice.

  • You can see everything it did.

    Every action your AI takes in Flomailr is recorded in the Activity log in your settings.

  • You can cut it off.

    Disconnect the app under Connected apps and it stops working immediately. Reconnecting needs a fresh approval.

What people ask us most.

Will my emails actually land in the inbox?
Flomailr sends through Resend. Pro users can authenticate their own sending domain in about three minutes. Before you send, you can run a readiness check that looks up your SPF, DKIM and DMARC records live and gives you a go, caution, or stop verdict with the reasons spelled out, so you find out about a broken setup before your recipients do. The check advises; it does not block a send. We don't publish an inbox placement percentage, because placement depends on your list, your content, and your sending history, and any platform quoting you a single number for it is quoting you a number they cannot measure on your behalf.
Which AI apps can I connect?
Claude, on the web and in the desktop app: add a custom connector with the URL from your Flomailr settings and approve access. Claude Code and Cursor can use the same URL, or an API key if you prefer. ChatGPT's developer mode supports custom connectors and should work the same way, but we haven't verified it ourselves yet. Your dashboard has setup steps for each one.
Do I have to use an AI?
No. The visual builder, contact lists, automations and sending all work without one. The connector is another way in, for people who would rather describe an email than build it.
Can I migrate from Mailchimp?
Export your audience from Mailchimp as CSV (Audience → View contacts → Export), then drag the file into Flomailr's import screen. Tags, statuses, and merge fields map across automatically, including the column names Mailchimp, Shopify, and WordPress form plugins use. You review the mapping before anything is written.
What happens if I exceed 500 contacts on the Free plan?
You get a soft warning in the dashboard. No surprise charges, no cards we don't have on file, no campaigns suddenly going dark. When you're ready to grow past 500, Pro is $19/month flat, and that's the only number that changes.
Do you support double opt-in?
Yes, and it's on by default for every public subscribe page. Subscribers receive a confirmation email; only confirmed addresses get added to your list. It is the single most effective thing you can do to keep bounce and complaint rates low, which is what actually protects your ability to reach the inbox.
Can I send transactional emails (password resets, receipts)?
Yes. POST to /api/v1/send with your API key and a to, subject, and html or text, and it goes out on the same authenticated domain as your campaigns. Transactional mail is treated differently on purpose: no unsubscribe footer, no quiet hours, and a marketing unsubscribe does not block it, because someone who left your newsletter still needs their password reset. Hard bounces, spam complaints, and your monthly limit still apply. Send an Idempotency-Key header and a retry will never double-send. There is no SMTP relay, it is an HTTP API only.
What's the refund policy?
Cancel anytime within the first 30 days for a full refund, just email us, no forms or 'are you sure?' loops. After that you can cancel at any time and you won't be billed for the next cycle.
